Achievement from a banned Account.

I just thought of something else to add to this, although it is still an exploit involving a GM. If you have any of your characters still in a guild, you can promote the banned character to guild leader, and then put in a GM ticket saying that you accidentally promoted the wrong character to guild leader, and they'll log onto to give you guild leader back.

I know this will work, because I stopped playing the game for a year after I got banned, and one of my friends did this to get guild leader from my banned account.

Yes, you can.. Ive promoted my alt to GM before when she was offline

Trying this now, but +REP regardless because of the idea. You cannot promote through the UI, but you CAN do /gleader name!

If your account is really locked and you can't even see your banned chars on armory i don't think this will work since the GM will have to temp. unlock the account again to do make the achievement available for you and sometimes (My case is very extreme though) they don't have the permission to unlock certain account under any conditions.

This is at least partially true. I called B.Net support to try and get my e-mail switched so that my banned account would be on the same battle.net as my new account. The GM I was talking to said he isn't even allowed to touch an account that has already had it's final review upheld. However, at the same time I know this guy was new because he had to keep putting me on hold to ask someone else questions.

I can tell you 100% for a fact that my old account was banned roughly 15 months ago. All of my characters were still listed on the roster of my guild until I booted them about a month ago. I could even look at my achievement points, and professions through the guild interface. Whats more, 7 months ago the character that was guild leader was logged in to transfer the guild to one of the guildies who put in a GM ticket to get guild leader. At this point my account had already been under final review for at least 6 months, so even though they say they can not log into a banned account, they can. I have the guild log to prove it.

My current game plan looks like this:
- Call B.net support to get my old accounts e-mail changed to a new e-mail (because they won't merge it with my new e-mail) but they can change it to one that doens't have any other wow attached to it)
- Buy the battle chest and make a new wow account on that e-mail.
- Keep putting in GM tickets until I convince one of them to log into my old main
- Get the achievements and then do a paid transfer to get the battle chest character to my new main account. /w all of my achievements and mounts.

I tried as well, they said nothing they can do with banned accounts.
