Excellent way to farm Lovely Charm's while asleep! (Hunters)

I find this interesting. I'm getting 1in8 dropping a charm.
This is consistent across 5 characters on 3 different servers and two accounts. (One EU and one US)

Are these characters different classes? which classes are they and whats skills do you use to farm?

To be completely honest, the best spot for this, bar none, is in the Corridor with the little elementals in Throne of the Tides, Reg.

i did both the HoL area and the ToT area, and ToT is above and Beyond better.
i believe ToT to be almost Twice as fast.

and all the pulls to get to that area are cake for a Tank class, and im assuming some DPS classes could do it without isssue, expecailly a BM hunter.

Blood DK; DnD, blood boil.
Combat rogue; FoK, killing spree. When there are less than 3 targets SS.
Feral druid; Swipe spam(Cat).
BM hunter; multishot, cobra shot, explosive trap, snake trap. Pet of defensive.
Frost DK; Blast/melee.

I used my own rotation-bot and Lazybot for movement (so I can pull all the slags at once and then nuke.... Except my hunter. It just stood TAB+multi,cobra,trap.)


I found by far the slowest was my rogue. And this is the one I really want to get the charms on... And Moving them between characters is a **** of a time waster...

Why not just sit back the near the 3 split area and send your pet in the area?

Or run down closer with your pet, but add camo to your macro, and take ExTrap off it.

This is definatly true.

Tried for a couple of hours yesterday as a druid, using gift of wild buff as a timer. In Hol got around 300 - 400 per hour. In Throne of tides around 800 - 900 (870 in an hour on last attempt). Both times was with a bit of chatting, so not full focus, although near full.

Best way though is to make sure the debuffs you recieve don't get too high, you can still pull, just wait to aoe them once about a stack of 15 debuffs falls off. I stacked to as high as 20 debuffs with not much issue, but to save having to heal!

Someone blabbed TotT on Blizzard forum: #1 love charm farming spot 1000/hour - Forums - World of Warcraft Now it seems Blizz nerfed them so no more 1k/hr farming.

Back to HoL. They still drop but it's not quite 40%-50% as before. Now it's about 25%

For BM hunters, go to HoL, and sit in the spawn point with a Spirit Beast on Defensive. The Slags will spawn, hit you, then your pet will kill it and you will get the charms. No macros, no clickers. Won't log you out being in combat constantly.

1. Does not work because you are not in combat even if pet is attacking.
2. Because of 1. You will go afk

I don't really get your point.. what do you want to prove? I know that it doesnt work because i tried before i wrote the thread and you would go afk even if it works before you go afk. Thats why i wrote this thread from beginning....

It still works if you go afk. You're on the mob's threat table even if it's 0. Therefore, you get credit and can get charms being afk.

For how long have you had your session uo doing this without having you touching anything?
When i did it i tried and waited for the "afk" message to come up and it did. So i assumed it didnt work if you dont have anything touching the buttons.
