Someone had posted on the comments on my YouTube video of this glitch that they got it working the other day. I dismissed their comment as just a fluke, but now your post tells me I need to go back and look at this again. 2 out of 10 times means this is still somehow possible...

I saw 3 spiders last week outside of Deadwind Pass (1 in SW, 2 in the air near Deadwind Pass), so this still works. We just need to figure out a new way to kite them

There are 3 possible ways i can think of:
1. Fear the spider through the invisible line, where it would normally turn back. I will try this out tomorrow.
2. Kite them upwards in the air within the zone first, and then kite them away from the zone. But this would need more than 1 player, unless you can fly and cast without a mount
3. Kite them normally while lagging.

to summarize, what you have to do :
-start the timer when you run over the poor Webbed Rabbit with a 100% mount,
-run away from where the spiders pop,
-stop at 6 seconds,
-just before 13 seconds, cast something on the spider to reset the aggro ( I use counterspell).
She's tamed !

What's important :
-You must kite the spider far away from their spawn point in the six seconds. The on I use is there Maps - World of Warcraft,
and I go there Maps - World of Warcraft
-The spider mustn't hit you.
-Don't go back to their spawn point when she's tamed, or she will disappear.

Tested this, and it's working.
Currently trying to find a similar way to work with the Deadwind Widows, but it's not turning out very promising haha
