Yes, tree is not giving any advantage for ferals at all.
But it is very powerful for Moonkins because they actually have spellpower+mana and can spam Wrath with +50% haste

Tested this on a druid made Pre-TBC (few months after retail lauch).

Night Elf on EU servers, Feral with Balance offspec before and during 4.0 launch.

It did not work the first time I tried it, but it now works after spell id was changed.

I plan to use this in FL tonight, might be cool

EDIT: If you zone in/out, your action bars dont lose the talent specific spell like you do if you relog.

I have noticed that a lot of people have Feral as one spec and moonkin as another. would not being resto and having both talent trees being anything but resto. Would this be something to look into for it to possibly work?

Just tried with the revised ID, and I went from moonkin form to tree form in a blink. So it is working now.

Just FYI, one can be reported if they see moonkin and tree switching instantly as possible hack or exploit. So moonkins beware.

No, as I've been resto forever, even having it as 2nd specc in the screenshots i posted. It has nothing to do with your current speccs.
I'm pretty sure about that, because i've known this for a while now and tried everything to get it to work on my alt druids.

Yes, care for that. I used it to troll people after we won arena sometimes and I got reported + he pretended I abused it to win the arena.
But Blizzard won't ban anyone if you are not abusing it for your own advantage. If it's just visual or in your raid where you won't get reported anyway it should be fine.

They care more about fixing it, which should pre pretty easy but may require a hotfix, so they are delaying it until 4.3?

Did not work for my druid: created in BC, was specced resto in BC and recently in Cata. It did work, however, for my friends druid: created in vanilla, been moonkin up until dual spec, then he went boomkin/resto.

US druid, made around 3.3.3-3.3.5, had boomkin and resto spec, not working.

Guildie got it working in his feral spec, made unknown, no discernible reason why it's working for him and not me.

Doesn't work for me but I'm assuming that's because I'm only level 50. Friend of mine got it working at level 85 though.
