with the people that it works there is something they got that rest doesnt, some wrath druids work some dont. makes no sense... wonder what the missing link to this exploit is

I don't know, on my TBC druid ( also main toon ) it doesn't work. I copy/paste script that worked on Vanilla druid but couldn't get it to work. Perhaps I could also work with moonkin form but i couldn't get it to work...

No it won't work with moonkin.

My suggestion is that this is a bug of old talents that are still in game.

I'm a Wrath druid who has always had a resto spec. (90% of the time).
Doesn't work for me. Druid made in 3.2 I believe.

Sort of works for me, double boomkin (PvE and PvP) spec druid made at the release of Cata.
I can 'learn' the spell, drag it onto my bars but doesn't allow me to cast it and no error message comes up. When I hit a loading screen it's removed from my bars.

You probably didn't follow all the steps, maybe you are not using the new Tree of Life in your restoration spellbook, but instead use the spell to learn ToL.

It doesn't work for my resto druid neither, been that since TBC.
Not even if i'm in my boomkin spec.

Though when trying metamorphis', i noticed the button was "unpressable", (when i was destruction), then i respecced Demo, and the button became available(but said that i had already learned the talent).

They might hotfixed it to not count more than 41 talents. ima try again having only 40 talents this time.

This is how it should be and that's the intention of Blizzard. Else the whole talent respeccing wouldn't work.
However, ToL is bugged. There may be other spells too, but that's not sure.

This has not been hotfixed and you can count more than 41 talents. I desscribed that in my original post.

Metarmorphosis may even work, but just not for you ( like Tree of Life doesn't work for you )
