[Warrior] Use Ranged Weapon While Using Bladestorm

Ever wanted to be an axethrower from old ZG? Use whirlwind and throw your throwing weapon of choice at your enemies? Well.. apparently you can!

I found this a few hours ago while getting some Zone Quest achievements out of the way.

So a step by step guide;

Rage up, or enter Deadly Calm.

Annihilate melee range mobs.

Quickly spam Throw/Shoot while in Bladestorm at distant targets to have them join the meat grinder.

DPS for free? Nice idea, even if it is not much DPS, but in some situations it might be good in PvP. (I think, it's a good way to keep a rogue infight or something like this.)

It is just a small DPS boost but exploit is exploit. This could also be good in pvp to break bandages etc. while BS'ing and with charge on CD. +rep

It works exactly the same as using Fan of Knives for rogues during Killing Spree.

Ah.. That I did not know. Time for a small DPS boost for my rogue.

You can also make a macro thats "/startattack /cast bladestorm" and you melee swing while bladestorming too. But you have to spam it, and that was in WotLK so it may have been fixed

edit: just tried it on a target dummy, still works

You really shouldn't be doing this. Using Throw/shoot resets your swing timer, so you lose rage and dps from autoattacks, unless you're trying to kill a mage and he blinks away.

Yep, my recommendation for this is to use this for PvP only and not in any PvE situations, unless a drop in DPS is needed because of a poor tank.
