Flying in Azeroth without Cata

So the trick is to activate the new cataclysm trial on your wotlk account,
log in, go to the trainer, and pay for it.

I havent finished the trial yet, but i highly doubt they will lock my character,
or remove the ability i paid for.

I will , but it is an orc rogue level 80, and they let you keep everything you get from the trial expansion. so im pretty sure im right.

but they can always darken out the ability you paid for until you buy cata which will not violate both things u stated above :P

I will say what i think happens after trail. (quite familar with bliz market strats)..

When your trail is up, you will have the skill unavailable, but still have it trained.. Only when you buy cata, you will get it back.
Just like new zones/Abyssal sea horse, you can get all that, even get 99.9% exp into levle 81, But you cannot level.

You see by doing that its kind of the money in the hole, if you bought the flying, have 1exp to level. There pretty much granted to get you to buy the expansion.

On topic- Yeah, they'll darken the ability, not lock your account. Standard practice.
Technically, they could have made a mistake, but I doubt it with Azeroth flying being one of the cornerstones of Cataclysm.
