Blizz will not refund you any money, as you're not original owner of the account, therefore you had no right (due to ToS) to play on it or transfer characters.
Thay may even take consequences to your B-net acc, as from their point of view, you simply stole this characters.
I would reccomend contacting with your friend, because by calling blizz he may screw your acc.

Cant say 100% sure, but I've had some cases before where I would get refunded transfer they reversed. Just check your credit card statement if they do it, you might see a nice credit from blizzard entertainement

If you chargeback the money on the other hand, it will lock the account and put it in a negative balance, whom whoever wanna play will have to mail blizzard a US money order with tracking.
