Amazing spellstealable buff

Today when i clearing up an MGT i found very interisting buff.
This buff can be stolen from Sunblade Magister and gives you 10% spell haste,stacking up to 20(!!!!) times.
All you need to do is pop your mage ward,let the mob cast frostbolts on you and spam spellsteal like a crazy.

I mean, it may help you with a boss in MGT, but even then a mage can solo it without any need for the buff. Other than that, i don't see real use to this at all.

Sorry, but how is this an exploit? Even if it was it would barely be useful due to the 30sec timer.. Summoning to a boss or so would be useless.

If your connection and reaction is quickly,you can be summoned with this buff,which means a 20seconds of pure insanity!

Comments on wowhead says that this buff cannot be stolen.

Comments on wowhead aren't comments from developers. If it can be spellstolen it means they most likely got some line saying *insertweirdcodehere* spellstealable = yes.
And I don't see how the effort of this is worth 200% haste for 10sec (no way 20sec since you gotta spellsteal to 20, get out of combat (read running out of instance=loadingscreen), get summoned, accept summon (=loadingscreen), initiate pull, wait few sec for threat(since you WILL otherwise overaggro).

Their Enchantment of Spell Haste is very lethal, although it can be beneficial for a mage. Spell Haste buff can be spellstolen, and it lasts quite long (30 seconds). It also stacks, so one can get up to 20 of these. Stealing one, when you still have some of those on you will renew the buff duration.

No, this spell cannot be spellstolen. The buff it grants upon casting a spell however can be spellstolen, and stacks up to 20 times for a 200% Haste increase.

Even if you did get summoned out to a raid boss.
5-10 seconds for loading instance
5 secs for ready check (if everyone is actually ready)
5-10 seconds of waiting for tank to walk to boss and get some agro

Leaving you with a full 5 seconds to nuke boss. And if you start sooner you'll pull agro and get the raid killed.

Unless these spell steal able buffs are 5mins or longer they are worthless.

Also, if you open up your /GM window and search for exploit. You will find a really old article about if Mind Controlling Scarshield Spellbinders to obtain their Fire Resistance buff is an exploit. The full answer to that is: "Mind controlling the Scarshield Spellbinders to use their fire resistance buff is not an exploit, and considered a creative use of game mechanics."

So stealing / using an enemy's buff is not an exploit, but clever use of mechanics
