Question about Mobile authenticator

Can someone explain to me about the mobile authenticator?
like if i put it on my own account what happens?
if I put it on a scammed account is it then mine?

Ok well basically to log on the account you need the authenticator, thing is its almost yours cause if he knows you put an auth on it then he can take it off if he has full info, but its more likely to be not known then bnet account

more people are suspecting the bnet account not the authenticator

plus if you put one on and delete the app its baically banned, much harder to get taken off.. so ya

Okay, so in order to apply ur authenticator to ur account or any account. You go into management, and along the toolbar to the left, you will see Add Authenticator. Click that. Then go onto ur phone and u will see a code, if ur US, it will say...US-XXXX and some more numbers. Input that into ur account to link them.

The authenticator can be removed by calling blizzard. So u should do this on the weekend.


So pretty much anytime that u want to login to the account via the website or the game, u will have to type in the code that is shown. The code changes about every 30 seconds.

Also in order to remove it, (if u have access to the phone that is), you have to input the last two codes shown, (in a row). This can only be done if u have access to the phone that is.
