This happened to me after a dc, and my other guildies couldn't see it at first. Then after I zoned or dc'd again they saw it and I couldn't. Then one of those guildies dc'd and he could see it on himself as could I, but some others could not. I suspect you have to be in range of the person when it happens, kind of like kiting the paper airplanes/leather balls/happy fun rock/pumpkin heads/baby spice. After a while people who show up late don't see it but those who have been in range do.

By using the dc command:
/console startproject

and then immediately reconnecting to the same toon has given me the every time so far.

Just confirming this worked for me also, I have a feeling they will just hotfix and remove this from everyone but its a nice little something to lol about till then

No thats what you should expect to see, just have a second window open and ready to login as soon as you get disconnected.

Some guy in my guild was claiming to have done this and he could see the title in his name, but I could not see it... So, are you sure guildies can all see it too?

Yep, guildies can see it above your head only though, there is no mention of it in ranks/rep or anything like that so you'll have to look at them in person.

Doesnt work for me. I tried it like 15 times in a row, got disconnected and logged in as soon as i possibly could, but it didnt ever happen.

Do you have to already have cataclysm downloaded? because i dont.

My guildies and I did already download cata so it probably does has something to do with that.

No one is suppose to have any guild titles regardless if the option is checked or not, sure doesn't seem like you even read the first post in the thread.
This 'glitch' seems to temporarily grant "Champion of Guildname". I say temporarily because I had the title and now don't, but I was able to get it again
so maybe its lost on next logout or something?

I actually saw someone in my guild having this and just changed her rank and it disappeared. No idea how she got it tho.
