this is indeed working as intended. you do not need an alt to make the raid. it is intended that you do not get saved to an instance that you extend until you kill a new boss. grats on the rep farm from all the people that have never extended a lockout and dont know how it works
Can anyone tell me if this has been fixed? (Working as intended or not.) My guild is on LK right now, and our casual best rogue in the guild isn't going to be available 2/3 days for next weeks raid week. So we want to try this.
Save the instance on some of your alt and test out, I'd say it's still most likely working since it's intentional to work that way. :l
Go in with your alt, get another alt with you, start the event, wipe, see if your friends alt is saved or not![]()
isnt a exploit something where you use a trick/bug/etc. for some type of gain from the game aka (profit)...seems to me all your doing is finding another way to build up your repair bill and lose gold,/shrug.
if you cant kill LK just do the raid from the start for the gear...the gear may help.![]()
Actually I just skimmed over all the answers, but i think there is one thing that should be mentioned:
Nether you nor anyone in your raidgroup needs an alt to use this game mechanic. The one extending his ID has the option to delete his extended ID if no Boss was killed.
