Get Core-Hound pet without buying authenticator!

I had an authenticator put onto my account when it got hacked. When I got the account back, I had the pet in my mailbox.

This is the only way your account getting hacked leads to you getting the pet.

What if I remove my Authenticator?
If you remove the Authenticator from your Battle.net account, the Core Hound Pup will disappear from the pets collection of all of your characters after you log out of the game. You'll need to reattach an Authenticator to receive the pet again, at which point you'll find him in your mailbox once more. If you switch Authenticators while in-game, your pet will remain intact.

So when you claim that you got hacked blizzard will remove the authenticator and the pup goes with it?

This sounds alot more likly and makes alot more sense as i've seen hacked accounts with the authenticator on them to make them look more legit.

the reason hackers put auths on accounts is to make it harder for the owner to log into them while they are being stripped

That's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. No, they don't do that. They don't give you a prize for being retarded, giving out your personal information, then costing them a ton of time to fix it for you.

The bottom line about this thread is, even if somehow a Core Hound is added to your account, it removes itself when you login after the authenticator goes away, even if you learned it.

You will not get a Core Hound just for saying "I got haxed lewl". Even if someone puts an authenticator on then removes it, you won't get to keep the core hound for long.

And your steps absolutely require GM intervention. I don't see how you're claiming it doesn't. This doesn't work and even if it did it wouldn't belong in this section.
