If someone has an apple and you take it, they don't have it anymore. If someone has an idea and you copy it, both of you still have the same idea. It might be wrong to use someone's idea without giving proper credit, solely depending on your morals of course. It certainly isn't stealing, by definition.

OT rant: It's sad how corporations and entities like the RIAA, MPAA or Microsoft are succeeding in making people believe that there's such a thing as "intellectual property". Don't confuse their imaginary property with copyright laws though. That's an entirely different story although it doesn't have anything to do with stealing either.

A working definition isn't worth much good if all major bodies of law use a slightly different definition.

Pirating music, products, and other such "copyable" goods online is stealing and can technically get you arrested(though it probably won't).

However, this is only straight-copying. What the OP has done is taken the original material and modified it for a different purpose or an unintended/unsaid purpose from the original topic. Therefore, what he has produced is a variation of the same material, not the same material itself.
So it's not stealing either way.

I still am not getting it. I type afk, but it goes -right- to the loading screen, before I hit disconnect. If I try to macro it, it still does not work. Do I macro them together, or put disconnect first?

The content industry was apparently successful in brainwashing you. Downloading music & movies without a valid license can get you arrested for copyright infringement (unauthorized use) but not theft (stealing). Copyright infringement is not stealing and it doesn't become true even if entities like the MAFIAA force it down the throats of their customers a billion times.

Please be careful with your glass house. Quoting a ruling of the U.S. Supreme Court:

interference with copyright does not easily equate with theft, conversion, or fraud. The infringer of a copyright does not assume physical control over the copyright nor wholly deprive its owner of its use. Infringement implicates a more complex set of property interests than does run-of-the-mill theft, conversion, or fraud.

My point was not meant to be focused on the word "theft," and I should have clarified that "theft of intellectual property" and copyright infringement are almost synonymous despite the former being contrived by the music and content industry.
Too much of my post was implied in my mind, and I assumed that most people wouldn't fight the good battle of semantics.

However, I will give you this to chew on,

It wouldn't take much for wording like that to give a good argument for why it can still be considered 'theft,' but that's not something I'm going to try and push.
