A little more exp when boosting in raid instances

As we all know to get into a raid instance you have to convert your group into a raid group, This nerfs the exp you get in the raid instance.

Recently while boosting a friend through ZG and AQ I found that if when we're both in the raid instance, I leave group, and re-invite him, we're suddenly in a normal group again, and he is getting 20-30% more exp from a kill.

So in brief

1- Convert group to raid to enter the raid instance.
2- Both get in
3- Leave group
4- Reinvite your lowbie Friend
5- Gain 20-30% more exp a kill.

If you leave the group in a raid, doesn't it try to port you to your hearth or somewhere similar?

I think he means boosting in ZG, I think mob-tagging works much better though (he tags a mob you kill it)

the less XP is as intended cuz u get a penalty for bein in a raid grp so u get more xp in a normal grp. but what nymphx said i tought you got booted out of the instance/raid if yer not in a raidgrp

this would be a nice handy trick for boostingbut as my memory serves you do get a HS when you leave group in an instance

I thought it was a 60 second thing until you port? Good for RAF boosting if true

Also if you've got the level, don't forget the +10% experience gear

When you leave group it will kick you after 60 seconds,but you just send the lowbie an invite and when you reinvite your friend, your no longer in a raid group, so the raid group penelty goes away.

ALL instances doesn't port to GY (never got stuck after killing KT in naxx without any mage and HS on CD? :P). However, might just apply on high-lvl raidinstances, not too sure :/

when u're in a raid group u get xp penalty, right, and u HAVE to be in a raid group to get into raid instance, right, then if u leave / reinvite u will be in the raid instance in normal group wich is NOT intended since u should only be able to be in there with a raid group.

Ok when you group with someone and convert to raid and run in you can leave the group and you normally have a short window of time before you get booted where you would just stand looking at each other.

If you regroup right away the timer stops counting down, you are both still in the same instance and you are now just in a basic group as opposed to a raid.

Edit: Ack thought I had read all the posts but guess I scrolled over 2, one with this very explanation. My bad.
