Full exp on when boosted by Lock

So, as you all know, when you kill a mob and someone is not in the party is healing you / dpsing target, you don`t get full exp...

Today however, I was grinding on my lvl 69 mage, and a Warlock friend came to help...
Just for fun he shot a seed of corruption on the mobs while I did pulled and frost nova`d em... They died all from 2 seeds while tagged by me, and I got full exp, 510-550 per mob...

Really nice way of farming that opens a new perspective of boosting...

This one is taken from combatlog
* I was not in grp
* I tagged the target
* Let the warlocks demon kill it
- 172 exp - doesnt work that way

* Not grouped
* tagged mobs (frost nova)
* Warlock did 3 seeds



Conclusion - <3 your warlock friends! - Got me at a rate of 123K/hour (solo 100K)

It worked because you are level 69 and the lock is 70.. If you were level 10, wouldn't work

As long as the mobs are green to the person that's killing them (9 lvls and below) you'll get full xp.

No sorry, if you look at the first screenshot you see that the lock helped me on a mob with dots and felguard, and i only got 170+ exp... While with seed of corruption I got the full

Yes because you werent grouped with him silly -.-
He did more damage than you, thus you get less exp, if your in group and he does more damage than you than exp will be shared more equally.

I was NOT in group at first pic, I was NOT in group in 2nd pic...

Being in group results at getting 250+Exp, not being grouped and he does spells results in 170+ exp... Not being grouped and he doing seed only results in full exp...

but why would u need a 70 lock to help boost u from 69 to 70? :P just quest ure ass up there!!!!!

and i dont see how this would really help much on a lower level
