If you want to try this dont expect it to be 20 mins. I transferred my warrior last night, (probably not my brightest idea but whatever) and it took about 8-9 hours for it to be approved.

Working now! Waited a few minutes. I tried to log onto my old char which still existed on the old realm. Don't know if that helped.

All you need to do is create a lvl 1 anything on a server. Then you can create a DK on that same server. (Assuming you have a 55+ somewhere else)

No you are wrong. I've tryed that and it's complete bs.

I went through all the steps and at first it appeared to not work. Eventually after it was approved I tried logging in to the character that was supposed to be transferred and it wouldn't let me, so I tried the destination server, still nothing. I went to the last step with the exception of paying, it still did not work. For the heck of it I tried creating a level 1 and it made the character that was supposed to transfer appear in the character list on the destination server. At this point I was able to create my deathknight and cancel the transfer via the website. When the person said to create a level 1 and you could create a deathknight, I don't think he meant it in general, if you don't initiate the character transfer process and get approved creating a level 1 will do no good. While I cannot make sense of why it worked, creating a level 1 (had already went through all the other steps) made the character that was supposed to be transferred appear on the destination server which allowed me to complete the process of creating a deathknight before cancelling the transfer.
