This Thread is a Database of all Exploits up on 29.09.08, containing data for Patch 2.4.3 . It is strucktered the way that you can see, how the exploits are practised and how you can use them. They are all confirmed with a lot of rep and the whole MMOwned community!

Name: Kill Shade of Aran without getting DMG (Outside his room)

This has yet to be noted I believe, and since our guild is basically pushing to do Shade correctly, I thought I'd post it.

This is an exploit that makes for a long kill, but is an easy way to get past him.

Basically, all you need to do is get the raid to the very top of the ramp... right at the top crack. Then have someone open the door long enough to aggro shade... then just step out, and close the door.

You'd probably think that he'd reset, but he doesn't. Instead he does his normal thing, but everyonce and a while will run through the door and start attacking the raid. Just dps the crap out of him and dot him up... the dots will help keep him taking damage after he goes back through the door. Once he does his pull to do the Arcane Explosion, just those closer to the door will be pulled towards the door, but stop there, and not go through.

Just make your way back to the crack on the ramp. He still does flame wreath, so, stay still like usual. He will eventually get to the point where he polymorphs the raid... same as normal, and he will pyroblast the group, just heal up and wait for him to come through the door again.

It is likely that he will enrage, and have his shadows go nuts... but they'll never reach the raid since you are outside the door.

Same with the Water Elementals... just kill'em.

Lastly have all dots stopped at about 4%. This will save the chance that he will die inside the door. Around 4%, when he comes out again, just dps him till he's down. As long as he dies outside loot up.

There's a catch though... you gotta die in order to have him "dead". If you tried to res anybody, you'd still be "In Combat". Just open the door, and let his shadows take you out with a few waves of Arcane Missles. You can then get everybody back in and loot the rest.

We've tested this and done it several times, so we know it works... and I'm guessing will work through th4e next patch, since I haven't read about any of it yet.

Hope that helps out for any folks, just lazily going through Kara and want to try something new.

Hey guys, first off, I'm sorry if this is a repost! I did not find anything about this (other than programs that were in the hacks section)

I've recently been feeling that I'm taking more from this community than giving back so I've decided to post this!

I'm not sure about you, but I find it such a pain in the ass when you accidentally pull an add during leveling or dailies, and you die! Am I right? Well, I may have the solution!

Usually, my latency is very green, and I was running perfectly! Recently, we have had rain here and my internet has gotten slower, and I'm in the yellow alot and I've notices something!!!

ACTUAL EXPLOIT :

When you are lagging, and you are killed, you are given the option to release spirit as everyone is, BUT when you click it, it releases your ghost for a moment and DOESN'T instantly teleport you to the spirit healer. IF you are LAGGING and you release spirit, it will give you the option to res for a split second, I suggest SPAM CLICKING on the release spirit button and then while spamming the option to res will pop up, and you will click on it and res.

This is CONFIRMED and WORKING!

Simply put:

1. Die
2. Make sure you are lagging somewhat and release spirit, the split second before you are teleported to the spirit healer, you will see "ressurect" or whatever the message is.
3. SPAM CLICK ON IT
4. You are ressed without having to run back!!!

ok i diddnt find this in a couple of quick searches that i tried so if it is a report i am sorry.

Basically what you do is, (im speaking from ally pov), go to elwenn forest and find someone fighting a mob...put curse of recklessness on the mob and watch the ally get pwnt because of the buff on the curse and the fact that it is immune to fear.....

If you go to a horde starting point, such as bree you can put curse of weakness on the person if they are flagged, or recklessness on the mob if not...and it will do the same thing, either make them hit the mob so softly they die or the mob will become so powerfull it will 3 shot them.

Ok, as follows :
You people know the Tuesday/Wednesday maintainance shutdown? You do? Good.. You can take advantage of it:

While the auctionhouse timers does NOT stop during the mantainance, but keeps running, you can get quite some good stuff out of this.. Lets say, you see a rare staff on AH, that you just want so bad. Theres maybe 3 of them on there, all of them have a bo price of like... 50 g?.. Ok, this doesnt make it any fun, so what if you logged on like 10 minutes before the maintainance shutdown, and took a look at the AH items.. for example, that staff could be at the AH, for 50g BO, and 40g Bid, or some jerk might have set it 10s bid, 55g bo.. right? Well, check the duration on em, if it says short, your in good luck, if its medium, you might get the item.

Heres what to do:
1) Go to the AH like 10 minutes before maintainance shutdown (usually about 5)
2) Find an item u like
3) Check if it has a short or medium durationperiod
4) Wait untill 2-3 minutes before maintainance shutdown
5) BID THE F**KER
6) And the server shuts down, noone can bid it or buy it out during maintainance.. Right?
7) Log on after maintainance, and if your lucky, the item is yours, "bought out at bid price"

This is not really an exploit but it saves lifes!

Buy a Thottbot World of Warcraft: Dreamless Sleep Potion (its cheap) in the Auction House or somewhere.
If you falling down from anywhere and you think you will die then drink it short before you are landing and you will sleep for some seconds.
When you are waking up again you will fall to ground but you will not take falldamage because the game thinks you start falling down when you used that Potion.

Note: This is only working if you have not 100% health. If you falling down and you got 100% health the potion cannot be used.



If you have enough money you can save your life everytime - that means you can save your life when you have 100% health too. But its not cheap.

When you think you have enough money, then buy a Thottbot World of Warcraft: Flask of Petrification - It have the same effect like the other potion (its longer, 1 Minute).
The Flask of Petrification will work everytime and rescue your life when you are falling down somewhere but it costs very much gold and its better you use it to make some Alliance/Horde angry!

For the quest Cursed Talismans, the talismans have a very low drop rate. (4.5% or so). There is a mob in the middle of the complex named Worg Master Kruush Worg Master Kruush - NPC - World of Warcraft, I killed him 5 times and he dropped the talisman 4 times out of those 5, which shouldn't be happening with a 4.5% drop rate. Have fun with this, turns the quest to easy mode.

Ok, so I tried this in the instance (At the Begining), And what I did was Eyes of he Beast. Now run with your pet through the portal. Your pet will start falling underneath, now they cant take Fall Damage! So you will be able to get there now, but only 1 minute. . There you go.

When you get the Bomb required:



Map it to a Number key eg 1.

Then when you come in Range of the Demons or Boats or whatever your bombing.

Spam the hell out of the number whilst madly clicking and youll inflict twice if not three times the damage instantly killing pitlords and making the run easier

Well, perhaps it is working as intended, but i doubt.
I did a search before, and nothing of this.

Requesites: Atleast two engineering chars.

I find out, that the imba Goblin Jumper Cables, can be used more than one time in every 30 mins, even with cooldown.

The thing is:
-Use cables on some1 who have died.
-Trade the item ( that cables with cooldown) to other engineering person.
-He can use that same cables as if had no cooldown.

-If you trade your cables back to you, u'll notice that the Cable's Cooldown its actually a "person cooldown".

Brewfest just popped up at eu servers , dont know if us servers have it , anyhow..


The quest when u have to run from a keg vendor or somethin' to another guy at the road to razor hill , well in the quest it says u need the ram to pick the kegs up, and turn them in!
WRONG!!

just noticed , that u dont need the damn ram! u can just wait 4 minutes and then when the ram dosnt exist anymore, u can just get on your old good mount and get some kegs and turn them in!!

Name: Avoid Melee Attacks in PVP

This is tested and working as of now. Useful in PVP (Blade's Edge bridge, AB, AV, etc)

Play WoW in windowed mode. If you have a melee on you, jump off of whatever. When you jump, grab the side of your screen to resize (IE dragging the screen to make it larger or smaller- NOT minimize/maximize, but actually dragging the window). As long as you're resizing your screen your character will continue to fall server side, but on your computer you'll be in the same location. To melee however, you'll be out of range. Once you stop resizing you'll actually fall, take fall damage, and be able to be hit with melee attacks again. This is particularly useful if silenced or something necessary is a few seconds from CD.

I know this doesn't seem like a major exploit, but it is useful, especially in certain PVP situations.

Test it with your friends if you have any doubts. I just got done testing it for some time. Spells can still hit you while you're on the ground, however melee and pets WILL NOT be able to hit you. You'll be stuck in the air to them basically.

These exploits are not bannable. You are not breaking any rules as it is in the game system currently to be like this, if you do not believe that, do not use any of these exploits.

What Is RAF?

RAF is short for Recruit A Friend. It is a new event initiated by Blizzard to generate more players. Basically what it does is when two players that are linked by recruit a friend are in the same general vicinity they will receive three times any XP received, when near each other or grouped.

What is "Recruit-A-Friend"?
Our new friend referral system allows you to recruit some of your friends to join you in World of Warcraft by sending them an invitation email containing a trial activation key. With this key, your friends will be able to set up their own trial accounts.
To start this process log on to the Account Management section and click the Recruit-A-Friend button. This will take you to the actual friend referral page, where you can enter a friend's email address and name one at a time. If you want, you can also enter a message that will be included in the invitation email.

How can I earn the exclusive in-game mount?
For each person you refer who upgrades to a retail version of World of Warcraft and purchases two months of game time, you will be able to give a character on the account you sent the invitation from an exclusive in-game zhevra mount. This unique mount can be claimed through the website, is only available to Recruit-A-Friend participants, and can only be applied to a single character.

What in-game benefits do we get while the accounts we play are linked?
1. Characters on both accounts can summon each other once per hour.
2. While adventuring with your linked friend/family member, you will each gain triple experience.
3. For every two levels the new player earns, the new player can grant one free level-up to a lower-level character played by the veteran player.

How long will I be linked to my recruit?
The link between the accounts will last for 90 days from the date that your recruit creates an account. Remember that for the link to work properly, your recruit must create a new World of Warcraft account using the 10-day trial key in your invitation email.

When my friend/family member upgrades from a trial account to a full version of the game, will that break the link between the accounts?
Nope! Your friend/family member will have to upgrade to continue playing past the 10-day trial, and the accounts you play will stay linked until the full 90 days have passed.

If my friend/family member recruits another friend/family member, am I linked to that person too?
No, these benefits only apply to the person that you referred directly.

Are there any limits on when and where I can summon my friend?
You and your recruit may only summon new characters of equal or lower level to the character you are playing. There is a one-hour cooldown on this summoning ability. Also, once one of the characters reaches level 60, the summon will no longer function.

Do I always gain triple experience while I am linked to my recruit?
No, only when you are partied with a character on the linked account and both players are present when slaying the monster or completing the quest. Also, if the two characters are not the same level, only the lower-level character is given the experience boost.

Is quest experience tripled too?
Yes, but only if the quest was not trivial (gray difficulty) for either character.

Do normal experience rules apply?
Yes, if a monster is trivial to either player, no experience boost is given.

How does this affect / stack with Rest State experience?
While you are partied with a linked recruit, any Rest State you have accumulated is not consumed. Only the tripled experience from the Recruit-A-Friend program is applied.

What if I'm partied with multiple recruits who I'm "linked" to? Do I get quadruple, sextuple experience?
No, you can only ever gain a maximum of triple experience regardless of how many linked recruits you are partied with.

Are there any limitations to granting levels to characters played by the veteran player?
Yes. The recruit may not grant a level to a character that is equal to or higher than the current level of the character he or she is playing.
Additionally, the recruit may not grant a level to a character that is level 60 or higher.

How can I earn the free 30-day credit?
For each person you refer who upgrades to a retail version of World of Warcraft and purchases his or her first month of game time, the account you sent the invitation from will receive a free credit of 30 days of play time.

Can I use the free 30-day credit on a different account or at a different time?
No, the 30 days of play time are immediately applied to the account you sent the invitation from once your recruit pays for his or her first month.

Can I earn multiple 30-day credits and mounts with Recruit-A-Friend?
Yes! These rewards will be given to you for each account you refer that meets the criteria listed above.

If my recruit cancels the account before purchasing subscription time, can I still earn the 30-day credit or the in-game mount?
If the recruit later comes back, reactivates the account, and purchases subscription time, you will still be eligible for the rewards. Additionally, you can always invite more friends/family members to try World of Warcraft through the Recruit-A-Friend system.

At what point does the triple experience end?
It ends the moment that your accounts are unlinked, or when the new player hits level 60.

Will death knights be able to take advantage of the bonus levels?
Yes, death knights will be able to receive bonus levels, too. But keep in mind that death knights start at level 55 and players stop receiving bonus experience at level 60.

When do players receive the zhevra mount -- after two months or as soon as the recruit has paid for two months?
Players will receive the zhevra mount once the recruit has paid for two months of subscription time.

How long will Recruit-A-Friend last?
We have not yet determined how long this promotion will last.

Can I save the "level-ups" I'm granted and use them at higher levels?
Yes. However, you will lose any unclaimed level-ups when you hit level 60, so don't save them for too long.

If I transfer a character with unused level-ups to another realm, will that character get to keep the level-ups?
No. Unclaimed levels are not moved during a character copy or transfer. Be sure to use them before you transfer.

Does this promotion only apply to new subscribers? Can I recruit someone using a Scroll of Resurrection?
This promotion is valid only for new accounts created using an Authentication Key from an email invitation sent from the Recruit-A-Friend webpage. Therefore, you cannot recruit someone who is also participating in the Scroll of Resurrection promotion.

How does summoning the other player work?
Simply right-click your target's portrait to initiate the summon. You can summon from your party or your friends list.

If a player already subscribes to an account (under his or her name) but wants to start a new one (also under his or her name) through the Recruit-A-Friend program, will that second, new account receive these benefits?
If the new account was created using an Authentication Key from an email invitation sent from the Recruit-A-Friend webpage, then yes, it will receive the benefits.

Will the experience bonus apply only to the recruit's first character? Or all characters linked to the account eligible to receive it?
All characters on the recruit's account are eligible to receive the experience bonus, the ability to grant levels, and the ability to summon.

Is my recruit or recruiter automatically added to my friends list?
No. You will need to manually add the character's name to your friends list

Benefits Of RAF

There are many benefits from RAF. Here are most of them.

- 3x all experience points gained when grouped together, around same level, and in same vicinity.
- You can receive a free Zhevra mount after the friend recruited has bought 2 months of game time.
- You will be able to summon your friend, the one that recruited you, or the one you recruited.
- You will be able to grant a level to your friends characters that are lower than yours, for every 2 levels you gain.

Exploits of RAF

Exploit #1: 3x Quest Experience With Level 1

This exploit is a simple exploit that likely WON'T be patched as the difficulty of patching it is likely to keep Blizzard from doing it.

This exploit involves you summoning a level 1 on a trial account, or just another account that's linked with RAF and run around with your alt and your main and turn in quests. You will receive 3x experience for every quest as long as you have your RAF accounts in the same vicinity, no matter what level. This ONLY works on quests.

Exploit #2: Getting 3x Experience WITHOUT RAF

Have a total of (3) accounts, 2 RAF accounts from your main WARLOCK.
Run someone else that isn't linked with RAF in an instance.
Use the warlock to summon the person who's not linked.
You should now be receiving 3x experience in the instance.

Exploit #3: Easily Leveling Alts

Get you and a friend, or just yourself, to group and level up to 70. Simply make an alt on either accounts, and just give it all 35 levels gained! You will INSTANTLY have a level 35. However I would suggest you'd level it to 10 first.

Exploit #4: Before granting a level, get your toon to be close to ding. When you grant a level, ALL THE EXPERIENCE will still be there. Me and Dark Angel just found this out today.

Legit Ways Of Using RAF for EASY Leveling

How This Works:

Using RAF to effectively level incredibly fast, is so simple. Me and Dark Angel have been leveling up together and got to level 10 in 40 minutes and we weren't even trying. Just make sure you both work together to kill the monsters faster. When together you will receive 3x experience points PER KILL. When you turn in quests, you will receive 3x experience as well! At level 10 I was getting 2k for some quests!

Working as intended. Will not be fixed because it isn't a glitch or bug etc :P. You can argue the point, but in the end its just spending large sums of cash on enchants to give you an advantage. Does blizz not intend for you to enchant your gear? One thing that has been starting to irritate me is compilations such as this that just copy/paste crap in other threads that could be easily browsed etc. Reason being is It's one incredibly large re-post per say. Most contributes or higher don't get in trouble for this, but with lower rep individuals I've noticed flaming by higher ups etc.
