Mangos platininum 1.12.1 LAN problem.

Hello! i have had a rough night trying to find out how my friend is supposed to connect to my server mangos platinium 1.12.1. But the thing is, when i change realmd.config and mangosd.config to my LAN IP the database cant connect. and when i change to my localhost ip as usual i can run the server and my friend can only connect to the realm looping thing then get throwed back. And we have tried reading every thread about this problem all night and even headed into the router to open ports and stuff but that didnt work, they thing is thats bothering me is that its a very easy problem to fix but i cant manage to get my fingers on it. Would appreciate any help i could get into fixing this mess.

have you changed the realmlist in the realmd database?

Could you tell me a strict and exactly little guide how to do it? if so ill give you so much rep you'd think its christmas eve

as far as i know all you have to do is change the realmlist column in your db and leave your config files at your localhost.

make the config stuff your external IP and go and edit the hosts. open ports blah blah i could go on.

Nvm i solved it as the matter of fact im going to post a guide to those who have these "realm loop problems". So its no missunderstanding or unclear language some people use. But thank you very much for your help anyways. +rep
