[Question] Earliest/First Private Server?

When/What patch was the first WoW private server and how can i make a private server of that patch? Would it be possible to make a private server of an earlier patch?

GotWoW.Net was the new home of Skull's Hack Site. It was the first server to be public. It was also WoW Alpha, getting your hands on any thing like that is almost impossible.
