    Unable to get to character select

    I searched the forums but was unable to find a solution to this issue. It seems like the "realm loop" issue?

    I setup a WotLK 8820 server using neddy's 8820 repack and the database from Mogrein. When I try to login i get the server select screen over and over and never get to the character select. There is no error it just keeps bringing me to the server select screen. This is a local server and I am the only one trying to login. Thank you for any help you can provide.

    Just letting everyone know that this issue was caused by:

    Code:
    Error in creature_template table, probably sql file format was updated (there should be 65 fields in sql).
    Which was at the end of my "magosd.exe".

    I corrected it by adding a 65th column to the database. I just made something up and got alot of errors but I was able to connect and create a new character. I'm still getting alot of database errors and I cannot create a Death Knight, but I was able to log into the game.

    IN your accounts set the TBC value to 2.. and if the DK button was greyed out it shouldnt be anymore

    Thanks kreegoth, thats exactly what allowed me to create a DK.

    Are there any 8820 compatible databases available? It seems like the ones on all of the server guides are missing alot of fields in the database records. I can login but I have absolutely no mobs that i can see and when I try to summon a mount it is not working. I think there is an issue with the models displaying.
