Getting a character power levelled, what do I say to my friends?

Right I'm getting a Lock done 1-60, but I have a problem, I don't want my friends to know that I got power levelling because they would look down upon me and maybe even report me. I am currently talking to them on WoW on my other account, and it would look suspicious if I were to just log onto a 60 Warlock one day and tell them I'd been levelling it. What do you think I should do? Not play WoW at all for 2 weeks? Avoid communicating with them? Then it may be more believable that I had been levelling a Lock. Suggestions Please.

Just say that you got the acc from some guy/friend IRL/at some forum that and it had a lvl 60 lock on it that you are going to play on.

Not playing for two weeks would work too I guess.. Just log in on your main char sometimes, chat some but don't do anything like grind/do an instance. Then log out. Then when you show them your lock they'll believe that that was what you were doing instead of playing your main char. Maybe tell em it was an old alt (around lvl 30 maybe) that you chose to level up now.

Would work, it's not like they will report you after you telling em that..

Just start greeting your friends with "Ni hao!" for two weeks before you start the powerleveling.

The 1st suggestion sounds pretty good.. Although they are doing it on my main account so I can't really do that. I'll try just not communicating for 2 weeks, I'll just play CSS all the time and go appear offline on Steam :P. Your idea was good too lag but they already started the Level so it's too late, it's on 18 already,

Most of the friends I have on WoW I can trust enough to tell them straight up what's going on. But if you can't trust people enough, just tell them it's a friend of yours wanting to play on your WoW account while you take a break from WoW, that worked for me previously.

That's also a good idea, these are very close friends but some of them are goody two shoes people who never break the rules. So I'm not sure if they'd choose Blizzard or me :P

This is the suggestion i would go for tbh, i mean it is the simplest and it seems like the least questions can be asked about it, What server was it on? name a dead PVP server and move on, i say pvp server cos i dont know what server your on atm and thus it is easier to say pvp as they can move everywheretwocents

I don't really think that would work because they've known me all my WoW life and I've never been on any other servers (It's PvE btw).

Or just tell them the truth that "I'm too noob to level a character, so i had someone else do it and i payed them to do it as well."

You can always say you trade your account with someone or that a mate of yours is trying to play warlock for a couple of weeks

why dont you say you like, had Dan level it for you in secret, but make sure you notify dan on it Sure he won't mind
