    Quick Question Concerning Startup

    Hey guys, I recently stumbled upon this guide http://www.mmowned.com/forums/emulat...te-server.html so I figured I would give it a shot. However, I have tried and done everything it suggests doing, however when I connect to the server, I am only able to reach the realmlist screen. When I try to enter a realm, it gets stuck on "Logging in to game server." I am using the router option and have not ran Hamachi yet. Besides that, everything is the same as what is stated.

    Any ideas? Any help would be much appreciated.

    Post your configs in code tags, be easier to pinpoint the problem that way.

    Those are, I believe, the only two files I touched in the folder, dealing with the realm list and such.

    Change:

    Code:
    <Realm2 Name = "Duh - Local"
            Address = "192.168.1.3:8129"
            Icon = "PVP"
            Population = "1.0"
            TimeZone = "1">
    To:

    Code:
     <Realm2 Name = "Duh - Local"
            Address = "127.0.0.1:8129"
            Icon = "PVP"
            Population = "1.0"
            TimeZone = "1">
    Then login on the "Local" realm.

    Heh felt like a nub for that one, thank ya Kree.

    Shao, I tried running it again, this time only to be stuck on Connected after selecting the local realm. Thinking something isn't allowing it through?

    Still stuck on just connected after selecting the realmlist, sometimes timing out to a disconnect.

    /Shrug. I almost feel like that guide isn't worth this trouble. Wouldn't happen to be able to suggest a working guide if possible?

    To be quite honest with ya easiest way i can think of is to download a AC-web repack comes preinstalled with Mysql and Emulator and a database... Usually if you just install and leave the configs alone itll work for localhost.. Secondly are you trying to make this a Online server , online with hamachi or a localhost server?

    Was planning on just making a little online server to play with a few friends of mine. Was hoping to work around hamachi if possible.

    Well best bet is to probably download an AC web repack and configure the Realm.conf to be your Hamachi IP

    Alright, I'll look into that. Would there happen to be any downloads around on the forums here? Being new and all I haven't had much of a chance to look around yet. Thank ya.
