Need to change the email?

Hey guys,
Short but sweet...
Many of you know theres a new battlenet page and it's annoying to change the email.

Not really into the battle.net thing yet, but I was wondering:

Would you changing the mail there affect it at all? As, as far as I know battle.net changes overrides the most of account changes. Like if you merge two accounts with different last names into one battle.net account, you can then transfer characters between those two accounts.

I'm not sure with all the BattleNet things at the moment. I do believe though it's easier to take accounts and so fourth. I'll look it up tonight!
