Question concerning casting animations

I was wondering if anyone could figure out how Badrasta could do the sheathe move right before casting(i know its model edit, unless hes pressing two keys at once for some reason). Or if you could point me at the right area to modify casting animations, it would be greatly appreciated.

Editing animations is a big task, however if you have the knowledge and the programs to do so, thats about it.. Edit the model (.m2) to have the animation you want and repack into an mpq.. nothing more to it.
