ok check back in a min.... im gonna reinstall mine to remember what i had to do.

try running the mysql_uninstallservice in your MySQL folder. then run mysql_installservice

if it gives you the same error you have been getting when executing MySQL.bat use the mysql_stop.bat then restart MySQL.bat

ok see if this works if that last steps didnt.

Go back to the configuration wizard under start,

remove service if there's that option again.

now select Standard Configuration again then Next,

This time leave the Install as Windows Service checked and select Next,

Now Uncheck the box next to Modify Security Settings then select Next,

Then execute.

(if you get an "Access Denied" type error message when it tries to execute... go into you MySQL in AC Web Ultimate Repack folder and run "resetroot"

Okay i just fixed it and i did the most terribly noobish mistake ever. Since i just got this machine i totally forgot that i was running vista, so what i had to do was do a repair of the microsoft net framework and run the installservice as an administrator. ^^;;;. Sorry for all the trouble. Thanks for the help.

not a problem......if that last step didnt work i was gonna tell you to go buy a new computer cuz somethings wrong there LOL

It's a good thing i dont use my AC Web server anymore cuz i just erased all my data tryin to figure that out.
Im finding Mangos to be a little more enjoyable.lol
