finaly i got my .config files working.

the only problem is that i cant login.
it also said that:
sql query failed due to table ..... [character insert]

and some more failed to





maybe something wrong with navicat? maybe i have to do something at mange users and get more privileges

The Mysql he has a link to has some issues with my computer as well. This is due to a small hole in the program that vista recognizes as a threat. I did however get the download from MySQL (Windows) Server Download
to work

if it doesnt work i dont know how to help you i just wish i had an answer to my problem on the problem with realmserver.exe

First, thanks for a great guide Really easy to follow!

now to my, most recent problems;
firts of all ascent-logonserver.exe starts up and launches five threads before it shuts down, no error msg.
And when i try to open ascent-world.exe i get an error like this: i126.photobucket.com/albums/p84/Nemerick/errornotallowed.jpg (add the http if needed)
The "STRUMPLUKT" is the "name" of my computer.

I use Hamachi network and I have both double and triple checked all the changes that is to be done in the .conf files and they seem to be correct.

Would be really happy if someone could help me with my problems

In your photo of the sql it says it cant find the information in spdb.characters etc. yet in your second photo it shows your character information is in a second database. Go into the world.conf file and switch the "<Character database name to the name of your database with the character info in it."

Go into your local host>Char database>Accounts Table
and create an account.

1.Set the first collum number to 1
2.Create the account name
3.Create the password
4.Set the flags to 8
5.Set the gm to az
6.Relaunch to exe files and try again

If it doesnt work you probably have a build error in Navicat and should reexecute the batch file

Ok for this one you should go into navicat

Go to your host and right click and click "Connection Properties"

it will ask to shut down the connection and agree with it.

go in and change the server from"localhost" to "Whatever ur hamachi ip is"

if it still doesnt work then there is probly a firewall blocking hamachi from your computer

Ok generally the stupid noob part means that the database name, host name, username, or pass in incorrect

Once u get the world.exe fixed it should work fine
