You need to have MySQL or something like it, e.g PostGreSQL
You need MySQL no matter what you do. Unless you make your own custom Ascent which uses Microsoft Access

Lol Of course i have mySQL... btw i fixed that its now saying at the end of ascent that it hasnt binded to port 8129. I forwarded the port though :S It opens fine when i dont try to make it public....

EDIT: Fixed it... trying to making public now....

+Repyou know instead of doing all of this you could downlaod a repack. Spartanboys is cool but i made my own private serverr using Mabs and its just as good.

why dont your try somthing better than hamachi... everyone i know hates that you have to download hamachi... so they go to other servers that you dont need it for

I finally got my server working, all works fine except when I visit an GM island.When I visit the island I right-click on the Merchants and then it says:
No sell template found.Report this to devs: 50019 (Weapon)
Help me please?

1. Well if u dont like mysql u can use Postgresql which is made by the guys at navicat. They're a little different. You could also use the microsoft sql server downloadable for free aswell but if you are confused by mysql then the microsoft sql server will be horrible for you.

2.Well you cant have an outside host for a free version of mysql yet. I suggest you just become an admin on another server

3.Mangos is even more confusing than ascent when it comes to sql

1) Is there a way to host ascent without navicat?

2) Is there any program out there with a wow server set up already in a zip.folder

3) Is there anyway to use a host like dyndys.com for accent?

3. You could use dyndns instead of hamachi but i would suggest No-ip instead, less port forwarding

You need to add items into the Vendor via GM commands or add it via Navicat.

Yes, you can use AC-Web repack.
Yes you can. I have never personally used it, but yes you can. I prefure No-IP as I have used that before and know what I am doing with it

I've got everything working, i guess...
I can connect to my Server
I can log in to my Server
I can create a new Charakter

BUT

It wont let me log in with the charakter i created, loading screen wont dissapear...just stucks at the very end.

MY GUESS

I've missing some (a lot?) maps! I used the extractor and stuff and could extract like 100~ maps. I saw someone write that there have to be around 3000 maps O_o
Not sure if it is true, but 100 seems not enough either.

My WoW Version is 2.3.3 EU-DE (original, bought) and i exctracted from there...

Any other ideas? How many Maps you got? Do i have to downgrade my WoW just to get all maps? (please not >_<)

You need to change the password within the Ascent .conf files...

Ascent-world.conf

Electo you will always need some form of an sql server. Mysql isnt outbound, it is just the connection from your comp to a database.

Now that 2.4 is out i cant get my server working. I got it up and running and then when i downloaded 2.4 it now says i cannot connect to it.
