    Crashado
    Try using the old version of Ascent, or try using the new one. If it still doesnt work, try installing the new version of .NET

    sal08
    That is caused by not having the correct version of .NET.
    Try updating it.

    fagelvagen
    Again, try downloading .NET
    Also, try using a differnt version of Ascent.

    Have you made sure your character database is set correctly?
    For example in Ascent-World.conf
    Code:
    <WorldDatabase Hostname = "localhost" Username = "root" Password = "root" Name = "spdb" Port = "3306" Type = "1">
    <CharacterDatabase Hostname = "localhost" Username = "root" Password = "root" Name = "spdbchar" Port = "3306" Type = "1">
    Remember, you have TWO .sql files to execute now...
    I need to update my guide as there has been a new release since I made it.
    I will update it as soon as I have the time.
    Thank you.

    EDIT: Guide has been updated, changes within the 'Executing Batch File' section of my guide.
    Please re-read before posting a question!
    Thank you.

    Try using the oldest Ascent and configure the .conf files correctly.
    If that doesn't work, try using the newest Ascent and configure the .conf files.

    I am not really sure what else to suggest sorry...
    Dear God, just looked at the time!
