How To Make a 2.3 Private Server

I've tried re-installing it twice, it doesn't fix it.

And you never Googled for the DLL to download it? I got the DLL in less than 5 seconds.

Yeah if you just down load it of the web it should work fine, thats what I did.

I just added a few items into the database, I launched the server and it crashed.

If you're going to provide an SS of the Error, perhaps you should host the image online before you link it. Imageshack.us, photobucket, tinypic, anything. We cannot see your Documents folder on your computer.

i downloaded the programs, and i think i followed all steps.

the problem i have is that my realm list is blank, i don't have any problem when connecting, but i can't see my realm list (maybe i did something wrong?)

if u have any idea about what is my mistake, please, tell me.

If you have a blank realm list you eaiter
a. need to start ascent.exe
b. Go to your realms.conf file and put this at the botton:
<Realm1 Name = "AC Web Ultimate Repack"
Address = "127.0.0.1:8129"
Icon = "Normal"
Colour = "1"
Population = "1.0"
TimeZone = "1">

To allow someone else on your network to play on your server you do this.
1. Open our realms.conf file.
2. Chnage wher it says "127.0.0.1:8129" to "your ip address:8129"
3. To find that out run this program RapidShare: 1-Click Webhosting
4. It will look something like this.
<Realm1 Name = "AC Web Ultimate Repack"
Address = "192.168.*.*:8129"
Icon = "Normal"
Colour = "1"
Population = "1.0"
TimeZone = "1">
5. YOur IP is what you and your friend will set their realmlist to if they're on your local network.

I was wondering, how do I let others play on my server? How do I create like an account signup page? And I changed what Bikerman said, but what more must I do?

to let others connect just follow any non hamachi guide they all work and it isnt very hard.

hello. im having trouble with the ad.exe file. wen i put it in my WoW folder and then i click it and i get a little black rectangle box with sentences in it. but its not up long enough for me to read 1 sentence. so wat do i do?

you must right click and select new then folder and name the folder simply "maps" then run it. It should work.

Just go to your logonserver.conf file located in C:\AC Web Ultimate Repack\Ascent (thats where mine is)

  And change it from

<Client MinBuild = "6739"
        MaxBuild = "6739">

or whatever your says 

to 
 
<Client MinBuild = "7741"
        MaxBuild = "7741">

Ok well my deal is, everything is working fine. (I'm running this server on Vista) The only problem I am having is after starting the exe files I get no errors upon loading but afterwords when trying to login I get an error on the logonserver.exe saying "Closing socket due to ping timeout"; anyone know how to fix this? or tell me what I did wrong?? :confused: so if you could message me on msn messenger at dead_fairyz @hotmail.com ty! <3

Should something happen when i click "Create server" on the control panel?

Nothing is happening though.. and getting error messages when try to use HeidiSQL - So i dont think its actually "creating" my server - Any help would be ace =)
