transferring char off of scammed account

i have a scammed acc with a lvl 80 rogue on it, if i do this (char transfer off of scammed onto my own) via bnet and all that, is there any way they could recall the char, and if they do, am i out 15 bucks?

If you are trying to keep the character and you want to put it on your main account, The best option is to give teh scammed acc it's OWN Battle.net account, then wait 30 days, then if it has not been recalled in that time, transfer it to your main account and proceed to ban the scammed one. That is the only method I have found to ensure your main is safe and you don't lose anything.
EDIT:You have to wait 30 days before blizzard will allow you to transfer a character to another battle.net account for security reasons.

Yes. They can call in and if they have full info and ID they can get it back. If they call in and the account is not banned and they remove battle.net from it the character will revert to the old account.

so you have to get the account banned otherwise reverting the transfer will still be possible?

I have a question in regards to this scam, so excuse me if it's a stupid question. I just started playing wow again.

I have a stolen account with multiple 80's on it. I also have my personal account. I was reading something about registering it with .bnet or something... What is all that about? No, I haven't searched or googled or attempted to read about it or anything. I just read this post and was wondering if I could get a quick answer here.

The account is NO danger of being reported. The account is safe in my possession, but I want to transfer one of his characters to my account. Are you telling me there's a way to transfer characters to accounts that aren't in the same name? Account Management transferring normally blocks this from happening.
