OMG I can't believe this keeps coming up!!!!!!! Read your config files! ACTUALLY READ them. I'll even give you a hint, it's called "remote password" & there is a very simple to understand explanation of what it is/what you have to do with it.

Yes that may be true, but your remote PW is still wrong & WOULD give you a "non permission" alarm. And the fact that you didn't make the remote passwords match tells me you didn't read your configs & probably not a lot of other very important steps.

Sorry, I am just tired of the same problems showing up over & over & over & 90% of the people not even bothering to look for the answers themselves expecting everyone else to help them. Maybe it's time I leave these forums.....

If you really believe it has something to do with your DBC files (which I am not seeing with the info you gave) then I (or anyone else for that matter) need lots more info, like what revision of ArcEMU are you using? What world database? What happens when you start up Logonserver & Worldserver? Let's start with that.

I managed to figure it out. I extracted the files from a 3.3.3a version of WoW and it worked fine. Thanks for the reply(ies?) (and you have my apologies for asking the same question again :P ).

K, if that solved the problem then you have an extremely new version of Arc (they JUST started support for 3.3.3a, like the night you posted). So, since you extracted 3.3.3a DBC files, you should also be using WoW 3.3.3a & not 3.3.2 like your original post said you have. Otherwise weird crap will start happening on your server I assume you are using game 3.3.3a now, but just in case you aren't, I wrote this post.

Never seen that before. I'd suggest asking on the ArcEMU forums. You could also just wait a day & try again, Sometimes they make mistakes & things don't work quite right for a little while.

I've got a problem with Microsoft Visual Studio - 9.0 doesn't seem to want to work, so I'm using 10.0 (first of all, should I do that, or try to use 9.0?)
When I try to run the VC90 - All Projects file, I get some errors and building a solution doesn't work.
Running the VC100 - All Projects file also resulted me in errors, but instead of giving me the errors when running the file, I got one when trying to build a solution; The project file ' ' has been renamed or is no longer in the solution.
Any ideas? Grateful for any help.

Now go to <ArcEmu Source>/trunk/sql/utilities and open ArcEmu DB Updater.bat, for this you will need to type in, localhost, 3306, root, <pass>(your password), logon, char, world. Now you will need to type a and press enter.

My folder doesn't have an ArcEmu DB Updater.bat, so what do I do?

Pros of a repack:
Its easy, it usually works right away, occasionally there is more support for it.
Cons of a repack:
You can't really change it, you don't get the gratification of calling it your own, and if there is a bug you can't do much about it.
Note: this is what I hear, not what I've experienced. I might possibly be ass backwards.

it worked ..but after i restarted heidisql and mysql..
i keep getting this error when trying to make a new account
Field 'the field what i try to mod' doesn't have a default value

Like. The folder im supposed to use the WHYDB SVN in.
