This rocks!!! I had been trying for over a day straight to setup my own dedicated server and this delivered!!!!!!!

I did have one question though: Is there any way to restore the standard money and experience factors for questing? That way I or my friends can level a toon the old fashioned way or i can cheat and just Insta-promote a toon.

If you're one of teh many people getting the server is offline message, check and make sure mangosd.exe (started by restarter.exe) is running with no errors. If there are errors (like a missing maps folder), then you need to post that error here.

i did everything, and no errors or anything


when i try to connect it say unable to connect

and i put in realmlist my lan ip

Cmd > ipconfig > defaultgateway ===> ( lan ip ) 10.0.0.138 i put it in realm list didn't work

i even tryd 127.0.0.1 not working too


can i get any help please

how do i change my server and or realm list because i followed the directions but i seem to be logging in to some1 elses server, where exactly do i put in the name in the localhost i'm using sqlyog

I completely deleted every other mysql thing related from other downloads and guides. and there wasn't a mysql.exe or anything like that in the task manager open.....


yet, when i still go to open mysql.bat, it flashes, and closes immediately.

Can someome please help, or guide my through on how to make it run.

YAY first guide that works for me but im still having one problem my mana doesnt regenerate over time it just is stuck at 364 (im lvl 71 full T6)

hmm, still have problems with it going offline, i had the maps folder in the WoW directory when i used ad.exe, but after that i started up everything and its still offline =/ ne help?

Dude. I got a problem,
I got exracted Maps and eavrything, and set my realmlist.wtf to 127.0.0.1.
Then i run mysql and then restart. Now restart is running. After 1 sec it says: Connot connect to world database 127.0.0.1;3306;root;root;mangos

Whats the problem?

The mysql console closes as soon as I open it.
Solution: You installed mysql when following someone else's guide. You need to disable or uninstall it before running the included mysql server.

How do I disable a previous MySQL installation?
Answer: Press control+alt+delete and click task manager. Open the "Processes" tab and sort by "image name". Find the one that starts with "MySQL", click it, and click End Process.

I do that but there is no mysql program running on my computer and the mysql program in the repack is still closing instantly.

help would be appreciated.
