Please help. every time to try to connect with the given log-in info, I get the invalid server error. I can't find the 'host' file. help D:

i had exact same error. please double check the WTF\config file. i added SET portal "arctium" but for some reason it didnt get saved? not sure how it happened but i had to go in again and add that line one more time after that it connected.

Please I need help (again) I can't log in it says that im unable to log in i added the line in wtf config and patched everything. i did everything the read me says but still can't log in please help

Sorry grimskull but i think we're having the same problem.. i can't get this thing to work either. it just won't let me log in. it says that im unable to connect like if i had no internet or something like that -.- and it seems theres no1 around to help us

when you did the patcher and when you open sandbox = no errors right?
if not errors, go to WTF and delete "Account" folder. also open config file and copy paste this

Xtase just did what you told me and nothing still the same error. and no i had no problems when patching or opening the sandbox

It's already there and still isn't working. I downloaded the one from the link on the OP, should I download a more recent one or..?

You might have to edit the file and move it. Im on windows 8 64 bit and had the same issue with you then I noticed it put the line in after all this -

# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
# 127.0.0.1 localhost
# ::1 localhost
### Begin DesktopServer - do not edit this and proceeding lines ###
### End DesktopServer - do not edit this and preceeding lines ###

I moved it to above that text and it started working fine. It could of been coincidence but it cant hurt to try

yeah dude, it took me like 30 min to actually get it working for myself.... then i figured because i got some help tips from this forum - it was time to pay back and help others.

have you checked your host file? just in case... C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

file is called hosts. the last line should be
127.0.0.1 arctium.logon.battle.net

In the MMO-C thread, they can do emotes and all the screens have shown them at level 100. All of my toons can't do emotes and are levl 1. Did I need to do something different to get that functionality?

mmo-c has their own sandbox but as far as i can tell the command is !emote #id ( where #id is the actual emote id )
also stuff like /dance works too

Does anyone know how to get the commands to work?

just type commands as they are written in readme that comes with sandbox. for example to activate fly mode type

/emotes don't work for me at all. And everyone I talked to said they got their sandbox from here. Boub just hosted the maps on a MoP server as far as I understand. Anyone have a list of emote id's?

I patched it without errors, opened the wod sandbox without any problem at all add the line to config in the wtf file checked the host line thing and it's there disabled my antivirus while patching deleted the beta file and installed it again and still nothing. when i try to login it says unable to log in like when you have no internet connection. i don't know if it is because i dont have the game fully downloaded but i also tried deleting the agent files and still nothing. same ****ing error all the time -.-. please help.
