I ran the WoD Sandbox Launcher program that you had displayed on Admin, I also ran the WoWB_Patched.exe as admin. I copied the information for the config file on one of the previous pages, and made sure the hosts file had the correct destination, also found on one of the previous pages.

Well just in case it's still fixable, here's the error he was getting (Coincidentally it's the exact same one as mine)

POSSIBLE FIX FOR SOME OF YOU GETTING CONNECTION ERROR

I see a few people getting this similar error here. I think the problem is you guys are running the incorrect launcher.

• After you rename the wowB_64_.exe -- Run the Sandbox.
• THEN, you run the WowB_Patched.exe and it should work. Just to be safe, make sure the sandbox is running in admin (might not be necessary)

I was playing around and recreated your error by launching the wowB_64_.exe instead of the patched binary.

well ive been using the wowb patched.exe not the wowb64.. but well whatever ill just wait and see if someone finds out how to fix this problem

Please post a picture that has both your sandbox screen up AND your login screen with the error. Upload it to Imgur or something as ownedcore could take days to approve your picture upload and maybe I can help. There is not enough information in your posts to ascertain what is going wrong.

Also, I'd recommend rebooting your computer. If you are getting massive lag running the sandbox something is wrong. It is an extremely lightweight program.

imgur: the simple image sharer that happens every time i try to log in. also its not getting laggy or anything the only thing is that when i open the sandbox i can't close it not even using the task manager for a while but then it closes kinda weird but it doesnt crash or anything just doesnt close.

for you's who get the error, a simple fix is going into config.wtf again and deleting the

SET realmName

variable or just setting it to

SET realmName "Arctium"

Does anyone know how to set IP to localhost in windows 7? I'm just getting an error all the time saying "IP adresses starting with 127 and 0 are reserved".

You shouldn't have to change anything at all regarding the host. The only reason that is in the .txt is because there was probably going to be some people that tried to log into some other server. That is your PC.

However, just in case you've done some weird things to your computer, make sure in the following location of your PC:

c/windows/s32/drivers/etc/hosts

You should have:

127.0.0.1 arctium.logon.battle.net

This is added by the patcher automatically, but just verify that.

mmo-c has their own sandbox but as far as i can tell the command is !emote #id ( where #id is the actual emote id )
also stuff like /dance works too



just type commands as they are written in readme that comes with sandbox. for example to activate fly mode type

!fly on

They do not have sandbox, they use Fabian's work. His latest version supports emote via !emote and created characters are Level 100

I still have an issue that i don't see other people having.. i have 127.0.0.1 arctium.logon.battle.net added to my host list, ( the autopatcher does not want to work, i'm admin of my pc, firewalls everything off and it keeps giving an error and freezing then stopping ) got my WTF file edited in the config, server is loading good, when launching the patch launcher thingy, i get an instant disconnect message :< bloody messy this is!
