Alpha servers went down for 4-6 hours maintenance, we can assume a new build, you might want to make a backup of your alpha install or not run the bnet client to make sure you stay compatible with the sandbox.

There was no new build, maybe tomorrow or next Wednesday we will see one though..

Usually if there's a new build, King would wait on releasing the Sandbox. Mostly because people would be updating to the new build, and some would still be at the old build. It's better to just have everyone at the same build all together. /shrug

in one hand i'm happy because we will see many new things but in another hand we will have to wait for the sandbox maybe two more weeks

Yeah. In that case, expect a delay of the Sandbox. Judging from past releases, if King had a sandbox ready near the release of a newer build, he would usually wait until that new build is released, and then resume working. At least from what I've observed. He could do an entirely different thing.

And also that way, we have all of the latest fixes and what-not.

According to the blue post the new build should be "a much more recent build than the previous one". Its worth the wait for king if he need a few more days.

I sorta hope even if a new build is released, that King releases a build of the sandbox for 18322 - I'm keeping a full backup of every version of the alpha/beta client, so we can possibly extract the early versions of the maps and insert or convert them into a format for an earlier client build. The addition of a sandbox for every build would just make it feel more complete to me.
