It uses LuaHypArc as the main engine if you looked at the already compiled a bit before going to compile it into your own version.

When I started making this project nobody in emulation was using it.

Is the .exe download updated to the SVN?

The exe is just parts of the SVN put into a self extracting rar archive, the SVN has all of the downloads on it and more.

Also, I see the max level is 30.. In the end does the character get level 80 spells, or just a normal 30 character with normal 30 spells? It seems there is nothing to do once you finish the quest line. though I've only gotten to 15 so far.

My original plan was to make it to go to about level 60, but it just becomes routine and boredom kicked in. In the end I released for level 30, tying off the leveling by defeating the madness. If you have not reached level 30, for example you skipped / stealthed past as many mobs as you could, then there are loads of things you can grind, and once you hit level 30, there are loads of areas to explore, such as the flight path locations that you have not visited. You do only get the level 30 spells. If you get to a level like 18 and have no further quests, it is because you are cheating and not killing all the mobs. Level yourself up one and then relog if there are no further quests. It also gets better as you get to later areas, since I actually improved as I went along. Anyway, have fun.

its just neat that we can watch it when we make a new char since it fits perfectly to the story behind the epic battle against the scourge. =)

this repack is awesome, diff gameplay mode and max lvl to 30, held at the gates of icecrown citadel, with customized npcs etc, good one ^^
