If you got your server running and you can connect to ir, just change the IP in realmd to your external IP. That should do it.

I keep getting this error whenever I change the ip information:

2010-02-22 14:13:45 ERROR: Could not connect to MySQL database at xx.xx.xxx.xxx: Host 'zodiacwow.servegame.com' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server

2010-02-22 14:13:45 ERROR: Cannot connect to login database xx.xx.xxx.xxx;3306;root;ascent;realmd


It only seems to run when I keep it set to localhost.

Strange development. I can see my realm list from my wifes computer but when I hit the button for it, it says it cannot connect.

Actually...it doesn't say cannot connect. It just keeps looping from the logging in message to the realm select screen ad naseum.

Did you check your fire walls?

Keep the IP as localhost or 127.0.0.1 in all configs.

In the realmd table using navicat, sqlyog, etc. change the realm IP to your host computer's network IP. That is, the IP address of the hosting computer as seen by your router. If you don't know it check the client monitor or connected devices on your router config page.

Now browse on your hard disk to windows/system32/drivers/etc/ and open 'hosts' with notepad. Do this on the host computer. Add a line like this at the end:
localhost (your network IP here)

Save hosts and put your network ip into everyone's realmlist.wtf like so:
set realmlist (network IP)

You may also need to open ports 3724, 8085, 80, and 3306 to avoid firewall issues

ok server running smoothley now can anybody tell me how to do couple things.
1st how to change so all classes can wear all kinds of wepons and shields and cloth to plates.
2nd change the max haste in game looks like bliz max hast is set to 500k
3rd so alliance and horde can party also..

I hate to do this

This is not a repack issue and Im sure pryd doesnt want the thread cluttered with questions on how to distroy his database accuracy


Read you configs .........Theres a section about campains horde/alliance
Dont be afraid to look at the files i mean come on its right out in the open
in the configs
so this tells me you didnt even look at what you have

As for haste
Not going to happen on a trinity core
Trinity prides it self in blizzlike content blizzlike core

I don't get why you would want horde and Allys to party together. But if you want them to be able to.

1. Go into your trinitycore.conf
2. Scroll down to this line AllowTwoSide.Accounts = 0
3. Change the zero to 1 in these lines

AllowTwoSide.Interaction.Channel = 0

ok,i just downloaded your new repack...seems great so far...ill post if i find some errors server side...but about the minimanager: even though i updated the sql db to 322,it still seems like it doesnt support your new db, mostly because gmlevel and realmID is added in another column...any way to fix this?

Something is off because If i am not mistaken Blizzlike is the TDB out the box with his vendors and bots
and I have a few warlocks on our server that had to build from start again to move to 3.3.2a
And they had no problem with alliance or hord warlocks
Did you by chance dump your cache
before doing the quests

Also sometimes a server restart repairs quest/gameobject npc problems

If I am incorrect about the DB I am sorry

Try doing a server restart and dumping your client cache

Also when posting somethings bugged it would be nice if you would post how it is bugged so we might be able to guide you in the repair
heck for all i know something could have gone wrong with the batch into the db

If none of this resolves your problem
Please post what the bug is so we might be able to help get it fixed
as something cant be fixed it people arnt aware its broke or how its broke

is it bugged in the other dbs?

If you cant take the time to read it why should people give support

anyways the answer is:
GO download mysql and install it
the site is www mysql . com

Next time please take the time to read when some puts up a fully detailed directions up
This way it doesnt reflect bad on you when you ask a question that was covered in the very first post

I have a Mysql and other programs, I run the server is not the first time, but the first time I see that the folder with the server is not running a database Mysql. In my question that I do not know how to do it yourself
