Startup an empty world on a server and let people build up the world

It sounds a bit like project entropia where you can buy your own land and do whatever you want.

More of this would be awesome, im getting bored playing wow, but stuff like this would get me back playing.

now if only Globalwow had supplied the source for the realestate -seperate- from the core files (ugh, I hate having to go through it all just to figure this all out), that way I could actually convert it to Aspire...

ok so i downloaded the code compiled it went to the release copied the files and such then i went to put them in new folder + the config files

downloaded his database

is that it? or do i have to to add a real database and import his? or?

The easiest way is to load the empty char and logon provided in the svn. Then load the populated world db that you download separately.

ok i did as u say but instad of loading world from globalwow.rar i just starit made a new db called world and imported ur one that u uploaded instaed

would that be oK?

ok i was able to get it working now now i login and i got to select realm this shows






And just out of curiosity in arcemu-world.exe

it says for realm test realm unicode registered as realm 1


i dont think iv saw unicode before in other servers that ive tried making could this be the error
