Is It Possible To Put Custom Armor On A Custom Mob

Let's say I wanna make like the Lich King for my server.....How could I put dreadnaught gear on a custom mob I create,so it looks like the Lich King...Hopefully this is possible because I could use it so much right now XD

its possible with a model edit, i know you can do weapons, but im not sure about armor, ill check
