im haveing trouble with the mangos server i keep getting a error every time i try to log in it says " unable to validate game versoin" any help plz

make sure that u have the right hackpatch, if u have patch 1.11 use hackpatch 1.11

Okay one question, need help as soon as possible:

I have reinstalled WoW on another folder and am trying to install patch 1.11.0... but ok this is what happened:

It tells me there is not enough hard drive space, but i have 6 gigs... so a Gm for the private server im trying to connect to tells me to download this thing from fileplanet, he linked it, it's patch 1.11.0 again, but its retail patch he said... (?) anyway i download it, when i double click to install, it asks if i wanna replace the file... i say yes, it says no can't do that because the source and destination file are the same (???!!!!) im like what the crap and so I delete the file and then try to download it into My Documents and then install it into my WoWPrivate folder. Doesn't work all it does is copy it. I'm all out of ideas, the GM said to just keep double clicking it... but he didn't specify to double click the one that comes from his link, or the full patch official from another website... Any ideas? I really want to play on this server!!!!

can i get some help i did everything but i get the server loop. when i go to click server it says ''logging into game server'' but i can see the server name. and then goes back to realm selection
.i am logged in fine and then my firewall is off and i opened ports 3725,4200,3306. i dont know how to foward them to my router though.(newb)... if u can help mail me to [email protected]

I have one question I can't seem to figure out. I'm not new to this but am new to this Emu, and I have a problem. The Emu i'm using is the AGF Warriorz one and i'm trying to use the funserver only version but I can't seem to get past the point where it says, "ERROR: Unable to open GameTips.dbc file" I have NO CLUE why it would say that but it can't even find that file so im confused. Can someone help?

it Blinks and dose Nothing because you dont just click the folder. You have to open it

But I DO open it. Or I'm misunderstanding what you mean by "open". I AM opening up the WoW Copy file, not any of the cache or other files within. And when I look around I do not see anything called WoW.exe.

When you find the WoW folder double click it. it will pop up with other folders like data ect...

Thats what I do! It just blinks and does nothing(to my knowledge, no bar, no black screen with type no nothing!). Could it be my BatCreator is faulty or something? Could someone link me to a proper AFG repack?

it could be the repack is bad. just delet the repack and reinsall another one. (i use amrican93's repack, never had a prob with it) here is the link for all the repacks,

this is not the correct hackpatch so u will still have to get that.

It says "Into your blizzlike folder", whats that?

when u install amrican93's repack and run it to get it set up, double click it and it will have 4 folders, blizzlike, funserver, tools, and interface, ignore everything except for the blizzlike folder.

I'm sorry but I'm not seeing that. What I got is just acting like a program install, not like you are unzipping a file. I'm sorry for being such a moron.


Edit: Hah, I got it, theres no "Blizzlike" or "funserver" diff in what I got tho. Thanks, I'll see if it works, now.

Edit 2: Ok, its still not doing anything. When its doing whatever its doing will there be any sign or is it supposed to just flicker then act like nothings going on? BTW, I got my wow from Direct2Drive, but I still have wow.exe.

Edit 3: It seems I'm woefuly inept and lacking, so much so I do not have the capacity to muddle my way through this. As such, for the moment, I succeed. Thanks for the help.
