BEFORE YOU ASK A QUESTION READ OTHER PEOPLES QUESTIONS FIRST TO SEE IF IT HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED.

EVERYONE THAT KNOWS THE ANSWER CAN REPLY TO IT.. ITS NOT RESTRICTED TO THE EMU USERGROUP!!!!!!!!!!!

Some Frequently Asked Questions.

Question: When I go to extract the maps a box shows up for 1sec then goes away, what do I do?

Answer: Do not just select your World Of Warcraft Folder, Open it, then hit creat and extract.

Question: When I go to start my server I get an error saying I have a Version Mismatch, What do I do?

Answer: This Mismatch is because you do not have the correct hackpatch. For example, if you have patch 1.11 you need hackpatch 1.11

Question: When I go to log into World Of Warcraft it says Unable To Connect, what do I do?

Answer: This is because you do not have your Wowemu.exe running. You have to have the Wowemu.exe running at all time while playing on your Private Server.

Question: When I get to the charactar selection screen it stays at Connecting, What do I do?

Answer: All you have to do is go to your realm selection and select your realm again. this will happen alot while playing, just keep doing this and it will work.

Question: Why is Naxx not working on my server?

Answer: There are 4 files missing on Naxx so it will not work, sorry.

If you have time could you maybe find someone who knows manGOS.

I am trying to run TBC emu on my computer (2.0.0.5991) and when I load up the installer it says I need WoW installed...but I know I have WoW installed because its there...Input is appreaciated! Thanks alot Emu Specialists!

P.S I am running the repair right now to see if it will fix anything if not I will edit this post! Thanks agian!

my server was working fine then out of no where it just stopped working = / it gets stuk on "Connecting" when i enter my username and password then press enter. if u could help me solve this problem it would b great

btw im running AFG v3 repack

if you click cancel it should bring you to a choose realm screen.

Im having trouble with making my realm go online with dyndns, I can log in no problem but my freind try's and he ends up stayin at connecting forever, i had my server on hamachi and it worked fine but my some of my freind cant use hamachi on the computers so i want to make one non-hamachi but it just wont work...if there are any answers please let me know ill give mass +Rep

im haveing trouble with the mangos server i keep getting a error every time i try to log in it says " unable to validate game versoin" any help plz

you need newer server version.or wow without latest patches.

for the quest dbc's that are missing, you need the new mpq extractor available at shadowflare.org. as for tbc you have to enable the expansion in mangos config.

I have one question I can't seem to figure out. I'm not new to this but am new to this Emu, and I have a problem. The Emu i'm using is the AGF Warriorz one and i'm trying to use the funserver only version but I can't seem to get past the point where it says, "ERROR: Unable to open GameTips.dbc file" I have NO CLUE why it would say that but it can't even find that file so im confused. Can someone help?

if you cant find it, the server cant either,thus the error, you cant open a file that does not exist. get new mpq extractor and extract dbc's again. note: remove any old DBFilesClient folder in data/enus/MPQout

i have made my server but when im about to connect it comes a error and it says something about " 123cxz23 memory cant be read" wtf

This error usually occurs when your sql's dont match your exe. ( ascent version does not match database)
