I've been in the emulation community for a every long time, I first started out with sphere and Runuo emulators almost 7 years ago. I've learned a lot of different programming languages that have helped me over the years. I'm a mature individual who is looking to either help someone develop a server, or even offer my hosting services. I'm 23 years old I live in Colorado, USA, i currently attend college for my bachelors in Computer science.

Why do you want to be a staff member, DB Dev/In-game GM/: I want to be DB Dev or In-game GM because I enjoy doing things around with SQL or helping people in-game with solving their problems.

How do you think you can aid our server: With my great design and SQL skills I can do many things, from scripted bosses (Custom ones including) to clearly blank NPCs with some random quests that will make the server better and more, if this is not needed and the server is FUN I can always make vendors and other, have a good teleport master script, can also create gameobject teleports or make a gameobject teleport you to some place.

How many hours a day/week can you help the staff?: 7 days a week. Up to 7 hours workdays (MAX) Up to 8-9 hours the weekends.


What kind of experience have you had with GMing/Developing: Was server owner for about 2 years, was also an Administrator (Head Administrator) and moderator at the forum, started as a normal game master.

What are your computer skills: SQL and a bit Lua, Photoshop, Fireworks, Wamp, Dreamweaver, After Effects, I am also a very good graphic designer.

Can you create items: Yes.
Can you create quests: Yes.
Can you create vendors: Yes.
Can you create teleport masters/objects: Yes.

Explain in your own words what being a GM/DB dev means: In my own words it means knowing how to do your work, to be able to help the playerbase with forum moderating or in-game moderating (GM/Forum Mod/Admin) DB Dev: Fixing DB issues as example instances, I'd recommend to most people that run blizzlike server to use Light's hope DB, those who run funs servers to use WHyDb (IF ArcEmu) my work as DB dev is to fix errors related to the DB, just like some bugged quest ? worry not, delete the row and remake it, this should fix it.

What's so special about this project?

I'll tell you that! It's
EVERYTHING

But exactly what is this special thing then?
Well, to give a quick summary, we've taken the World of Warcraft engine, erased nearly everything on it and replaced it with our own custom world, races and what not. The project is a 100% RP (Roleplaying) project. I'm afraid I can't give away too much info except if it's to a staff member, or a future staff member. Could this be you?!

We're currently looking for more workers at DFoT - The Dormant Fable of the Titans - and those workers are:

[0/3] Lua Scripters
[0/2] C++ Scripters

Below is detailed information regarding this:
Graphic Designers will not be paid and will only be needed when requested, which will most likely be when the website is being set up or for advertisement purposes. You will have to bring a portfolio of your previous work with you, and please note, we know how to check that it really is yours.

Lua Scripters will also not be paid and will be working almost constantly in the later stages of the project, however, for the moment there won't be too much pressure. You will be making gossips, random scripts, systems and what not! You will have to come with a portfolio of your previous work and we know how to check if it really is yours or not.

C++ Scripters might be paid, however, this will be discussed between the scripter and the staff. For the moment, it will be pretty chill but later on you will have a lot of pressure on you, making different scripts, systems (LOTS OF THEM), custom functions etcetra. You will have to bring a portfolio and we know how to see if it's yours.

All staff members are required to meet standards and all changes will go through quality control and testing before being applied.

The current positions available are:

Below is a more detailed description of each job position, as well as the requirements you must meet in order to be considered.

Developers will work with both the core and database to improve the core, increase efficiency in the database, fix in-game bugs, as well as create new scripts for the server. You will basically handle all in-game scripting and developing.
Requirements: Previous experience developing for a TrinityCore-based system, knowledge and experience with git, the ability to work in a linux environment, ability to communicate via IRC, as well as the ability to follow standards and meet deadlines. You will need extensive knowledge of SQL and C++ as well.

Web Developers will work with the main homepage and write scripts for the website. Your main responsibility will be creating a top-end, high-quality website that provides all the necessary function for a user to interact with the website and their in-game accounts.
Requirements: Previous experience creating websites, knowledge and experience with git, ability to communicate via IRC, as well as the ability to follow standards and meet deadlines. You will need extensive knowledge of SQL, HTML, CSS and PHP as well.

Extension Developers will create extensions of the core and create various programs that support the server. Examples of this would be an IRC bot for players to manage their account.
Requirements: Previous experience working with a TrinityCore-based system, knowledge and experience with git, the ability to develop for a linux environment, ability to communicate via IRC, knowledge of how IRC works, as well as the ability to follow standards and meet deadlines. You will need extensive knowledge of C++, (C# optional) and SQL as well.
