[WoW Emulator] eWoW - a modularized C# emulator

eWoW is a brand new emulator built from the ground up emulator written in C#

I used to work on an older version of eWoW, before that died.
Recently a friend of mine got the versionof eWoW working with 2.4.3, as in just logging into the server.
I took this, stripped it down, rewrote it with Modularization in mind.

    What is Modularization you ask?
Well each system is in its own .dll or "module"
Here are some screenshots to show this

    Thats pretty cool huh?

Now those modules are actually empty, as in they contain no code yet, those screen shots are more of POCs (Proof of Concept) than actually what the end result will be.

How do you get this? How can you help?

to download the source code, you have to check out the following svn:
    eWoWEmulator - Revision 1: /

I Dont have a site or forums...yet, if someone can provide those for me, please contact me

    To help:
    contact:
    MSN: [email protected]
    Xfire: (rarely used) CoolManBob
    AIM: [email protected]

If you really want to contact me quickly and easily your best bet is MSN, im am always online

Have fun, keep an eye out as I will be continually working on this emulator, and Free Knowledge FOREVER!

What are the benefits of such a Modularization?

Is it possible to reload every single module at runtime?

That could/should be one of the features. I think this is mainly to make the emulator more dynamic and easier to edit.

    Actually, spurious is not dead.

We are in the process of getting our web site back online, and giving the latest news on development. Several of the bugs have been fixed, and Spurious now supports 3.0.9 clients, with 3.1.x on the way.

The latest will be made public before long, just wanting to squish a few more bugs first.

Why create blank modules? You could at least write examples?

@ Hasbro, you started the flaming first hand. You won't get any "second chance" shit, you will receive infractions for flaming, so shut the hell up.

@ Coolmanbob, I hope this project kicks off a good start.

If you need an extra dev, I'll be more than happy to help you in my spare time. (Not as a full-time dev. Keep that in mind!)
