Yea, but the whole thing with repacks is that, there okay but when a new patch comes out, they have to find a new repack to keep up with the competition.... There really good for development though ^^

Repacks are useful for people who want to start off, or who just dont want to download 200+ for the C++ thing, etc.

Yeah I don't make my own compiles and probably wont be doing it.
I don't got the time nor the patience at the moment to start learning about compiling on a higher level, to end up with a product you can stand by and be proud of.

Repacks are nice for the reasons already stated.
And yes you can actually put scripts in a repack...but yes you would have to find new repacks to keep up, and thats a mess in the end.

I think compiling is good, for those who can. But Repacks are fine for those who don't have that big of a need (Like me). I would probably just "Jump on the wagon" and join a server which is already compiled by someone who could manage that and help them with whatever I can.
