MaNGOS WotLK Databases VS. ArcEmu Databases

I've noticed that for some reason, people are making more WotLK databases for ArcEmu then for MaNGOS. I find this weird, since MaNGOS (in my opinion, prove me wrong if I am) has better WotLK support at the moment. I know there's FDB for MaNGOS, but with all due respect, they're dead. NC-DB has a sort-of MaNGOS database but it's not finished yet so I'm not using that either. This -ONLY- leaves FDB as good DB to use with the latest Mangos GIT 303 revision.

My point and/or discussion reason is; Why are there more ArcEmu WotLK Databases (with more content) then MaNGOS WotLK Databases?

(If your here to start a war about Mangos vs. ArcEmu, don't start. I'm only talking about the Databases.)

But, why are there better databases for other EMU's them. It doesn't make any sense.

hi guys, can any of direct me to a working db for mangos, rev 6862, please

also i too have a problem, using ad.exe which came with the git distro, when starting mangos it sais the ./maps/0004832.map is missing, i have run out of options to get it to work, please help

Use Undefined database? Its descent dont know if they are still alive though for mangos.

Their WotLK DB isn't out yet. (If you mean Unified Database)

Just checked. They're releasing it after MaNGOS officially support 3.0.x . Which might take a while since 303 branch is still not ready.

seems to me it's just a matter of the majority of users/developers prefering ArcEmu/Aspire/Ascent over Mangos and therefore the majority of DB's being developed would be for those cores

NCDB is just the same for ArcEmu as Mangos?
Because they're using and converter from NCDB template to Arc or Mangos?
