LAN server for a party

I'm trying to set up a server on LAN that my friends and I can play on when they come over and I think I've got it working, I'm just curious how they would set up GM accounts to log onto my server. If you have any ideas please help

simply just do the command to upgrade their accounts

This is ascent, Pedragon's 2.4.3 repack. The issue I'm having is making the accounts in the first place... I think I know how to "promote" them.

there is a command for making accounts too....or you can make a website....there should be one in the repack...

Thanks alot The account creation command isn't working on this repack but he did include a website. Hopefully it works.

Is there a file I can just edit instead? I see a file called accounts but the formatting of the text is throwing me off...

the mySQL database...but you need navicat to edit it

UPDATE accounts SET gm = 'a' WHERE login = 'illuminati';

and change Illuminati to the account name =)

yeh just go into the accounts db and change permissions to az i would recommend doing it this way because you may not know the account name and to find it out you would have to go to the accounts db anyway
