Possible to Prevent a Race or Class from Character Selection Screen?

When Burning Crusade is not enabled, you are not permitted to choose the Dranieli or the Blood Elve Races.

Can you do this with classes and other race's aswell?

You can just delete their playercreateinfo from the DB, that will make anyone who tries to create them go back to the char selection screen.

Good Point. But before the thread is ended, is there a way to literally "gray out" the the class or race?

    it is done clientside....
don't you remember the patch you had to apply to be able to play the TBC races in the very beginning of TBC?
Anyhow you can not grey it out in the ascent core or anything, it is done clientside and therefore hard... You could make a patch that kicks players that create TBC chars without the client though... (kinda what spidey said)

    grtz

It is indeed possible to edit the character creation images and "grey" out certain pictures. The problem is, it would be clientside, and everyone would have to download a patch to see it.

EDIT: Yargh, latruwski beat me to it :P
