Help! I changed my DynDNS and now server won't start!

So I had my server up and running, getting ready to release to public. I decided to advertise on wowstatus.com and xtreme100 but both sites said that my dynDNS had already been used. I thought, well ok this isn't a problem, I'll just change my dynDNS. I went to the site and deleted my previous dynDNS called wowfire.game-host.org, and then created a new one called wowfire.game-server.cc.

I figured I could just change all of the values in each of my config files in ascent and apache and it would connect right up, but I was wrong. Not only that, but when I re-enter wowfire.game-host.org (my old one) IT STILL CONNECTS! And it doesn't even exist anymore.

What am I missing? Someone please help!



EDIT: I changed everything back to wowfire.game-host.org, made a new dynDNS with the same name, and my server works again but its only available to me (no one else can connect). It seems like its recognizing wowfire.game-host.org as my localhost or 127.0.0.1 instead of my actual IP.

I really need help as soon as possible! I was very close to releasing my finished server to the public (and it was working) and now its not! Please someone help!

Test No-Ip.org and download the pogram and start it and that pogram will always update when you have a new Ip adres and its always work for me.

And you have to change the IP in ascent-realm.conf to your new IP

Try that and tell if not work

It didn't work. When I started up logonserver it said Connection Failed due to MySQL cannot connect to "wowfire.hopto.org" (10066)

Change the Host to = Localhost in the MYsql connecting in the World and logon server config.

EDIT: Do you got router? If you have you have to login on 127.0.0.1 And all others connect to the DynDNS Ip

Ok whew, that worked! Thanks! Now I'm having trouble with my wamp5 and account creation. Do I just need to change the httpd file? or more?
