Switch from Branch to Trunk

So here's what I need help with, currently my server is running on the Branch version of ascent, we have custom items, custom mobs, and custom game objects (used to close in leveling areas and at the mall). What I would like to do, is switch from the Branch version of ascent, to the Trunk version, this would help with a lot of things like collision detection, and others I won't mention right now.

Now here is my problem, I'm intelligent enough to know how to get the trunk version working, but I don't know how to take all my custom things in the Branch version and put them into the Trunk version. I know I could spend hours taking every single custom item or custom mob and manually putting it into the database, but I'm hoping for a faster simpler solution.

If someone could tell me how to transfer all of my custom changes to the database from the Branch version to the Trunk version, perhaps with a program, or by backing up the custom things and restoring them into the trunk database, I would be extremely grateful, and of course rep.

Just Sql dump the things that you've edited..
make sure you get all of them
EG Account_table.sql.
EG GameObject_Names.sql
Etc
Then upload your new database.
Delete the tables from the new database you added.
Execute the backed up tables.

lol I just replied to one of your questions too, I thought about doing this, in fact it was the first think that popped into my head, but I thought that maybe the Trunk version of ascent would have new database formats for things like creature_proto that the branch version doesn't have. Like what if they added a column (making up a name here) that was "deathstate" or something random like that. When I replaced the trunk database with the branch version of it wouldn't that affect things in the server from running?

Hmm, well. You can simply update your core only..
Just backup your Lua's and other custom things including your .conf's
Then you'll have a Trunk core..
Not sure what to tell you about the DB though.
Wait for 2D tomorrow. He always has the answer.

I think I'll try your idea of deleting the specific categories in the database and loading the branch versions, hopefully this will work at least temporarily, I repped ya for the solution.

I wouldn't delete your old database, Just make a new one.

If it's just the core you don't need to touch anything but the core, and of course recompile your scripts.
If there were DB changes you'll find them in the SVN.

Well I tried your suggestion vivoxity, unfortunately now vendors, trainers, mounts, etc. etc. are bugged, so it must not have worked. I was wondering if I can back up my custom items and mobs into a .sql format, the way people save their malls. Like if you download a custom mall from here, it's in a .sql format where it says "insertinto-items" and a stuff like that, I was wondering if people write that entire code themselves, or do they just save their mall in that format?

They save the mall in that format. By extracting all the tables that have the custom stuff in them and taking out the custom things and putting them in a separate sql file
